博士,教授,博士生导师,德国洪堡学者,“新世纪百千万人才工程”国家级人选,教育部“跨世纪优秀人才”,陕西省“三五人才工程”第一层次人选,国务院政府特殊津贴获得者,国家科技奖和国家自然科学基金通讯评议专家,科技部、教育部和陕西省、广东省科技计划项目评审专家。

先后主持国家自然科学基金、教育部跨世纪优秀人才培养计划基金、陕西省自然科学基金等省部级以上科研课题10余项。在Nature Communications、Physical Review Letters、Physical Review B、Scientific Reports、Applied Physics Letters、Physical Review E、Crystal Growth & Design、CrystEngComm、Scripta Materialia、Journal of Crystal Growth等国内外重要学术期刊及学术会议上发表论文120余篇,被SCI收录80余篇,SCI他引600余次,受邀在国际会议及Brookhaven国家实验室、Oak Ridge国家实验室、Ames国家实验室等重要学术机构作特邀报告10 余次。

      获国家自然科学二等奖1项,国家发明二等奖1项,省部级科技进步一等奖3项、二等奖1项、三等奖1项。获国家发明专利5项、实用新型专利4项。
