General Introduction

I am currently a Full Professor and Ph.D. supervisor in School of Management, Northwestern Polytechnical University. I got B.Eng. in Automation from Xi'an Jiaotong University in 2012 and Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from National University of Singapore in 2017.

I aim to conduct high-quality research and meanwhile solving real-world problems and contributing the society. My research interests are:

>>   Methodology development in simulation, optimization and simulation-optimization integration;

>>   Applied Operations Research and Data Analytics in smart transportation and logistics systems, such as automated transportation systems, autonomous systems, automated warehouse and logistics center, etc.

I am very interested to have research collaborations, and feel free to approach me if you share the same goal :)

For the students/postdocs who wish to join my team, please read the following information carefully before asking for letter of acceptance.

I am looking for students/postdocs who have a strong background in one of the followings:

--- Mathematics (specifically, mixed integer programming, Markov decision process, stochastic programming)

--- Computer Science (specifically, general programming in C# and Python, simulation software)

If you have strong motivation on doing research and enhancing your capabilities, while you are interested to my research area, please send me an email with 10-page slides to introduce yourself and your research plan. For whoever wish to join my team, undergraduate or graduate students, it is required to conduct a rigorous study, and publish reputational research paper(s).
